Top Teaching Staff with National Credentials
The newly named Forsgate Golf Academy with Bill Schmedes III boasts one of the best professional teaching staffs in the state. The renowned Golf Academy accommodates golfers of all ability levels and is especially popular with juniors and beginners. A number of attractive membership packages are available, including a family and two junior membership categories, in addition to individual lesson reservations.
Headed by nationally recognized Director of Instruction Bill Schmedes III, who was voted by Golf Digest as one of “The Best Young Teachers in America,” the Forsgate Golf Academy has an experienced senior staff of five instructors. The state of the art facility provides both indoor and outdoor practice areas, plus a new full swing simulator for practice and play featuring over 70 courses from around the world. The Academy offers the latest game analysis technology, including TrackMan and FlightScope, the 3D golf ball tracking and launch monitor system.

McKenzie Andrews is a Top 50 U.S. Kids Golf Master teacher and she competed on the LPGA’s developmental tour. Head Golf Professional Mike Furey is a certified U.S. Kids Golf instructor and has worked with PGA TOUR and European Tour teaching pros. Frank Esposito, a five-time NJPGA Player of the Year and member of the NJ PGA Hall of Fame, has competed in the U.S. Open, two PGA Championships and PGA TOUR Champions Tour tournaments. Teaching pro Justin Rohrig also has a notable resume with a focus on juniors, junior golf camps and clinics.
