SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — There are now four positive coronavirus cases in South Brunswick, as of Friday evening, according to South Brunswick police.

The cases are:

  • A man in his 50s, who is recovering at home and is self-quarantined.
  • A woman in her 70s; location unknown.
  • The other two are residents who are recovering at home under self-quarantine.

A testing center will open Monday at 8 a.m. in Holmdel; more details here.

Middlesex County now has 76 cases of people testing positive for the virus. Officials from the New Jersey State Health Department said Friday they expected numbers to increase in the coming days as more testing is being done. Individuals with no symptoms are not recommended to be tested. Individuals with mild symptoms should stay home if they are sick and follow the guidance of their health care provider.
