Gas Line Struck In Brunswick Acres Wednesday

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A contractor accidentally struck a gas line earlier today, Wednesday, in the Brunswick Acres development, South Brunswick police said.

The accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. today; the gas line was struck in the area of Oakey Drive and Kory Drive. PSE&G workers stopped the leak and there is no danger to the neighborhood, police said.

However, in order for repairs to be made, Oakey Drive between Kory Drive and Timothy Avenue will be closed for several hours Wednesday afternoon.
