Heroin, Marijuana Found On 2 South Brunswick Teens

Fifty decks of heroin and marijuana were found on two South Brunswick teens Tuesday evening, said police.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Fifty decks of heroin and marijuana were found on two South Brunswick teens Tuesday evening, said police.

The young men were identified as Al’ Jamar Taylor and Jason Briggs, both 18, of Monmouth Junction, said police.

The two teens were arrested at a Bayberry Court home at 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, and that's when the drugs were found on them, said police.

Police say the two teens lured a third young man to Bayberry Court Tuesday and robbed him when he pulled up in his car just 5 p.m. that evening. The victim said the two teens pulled him out of his car and punched him; his car then rolled forward and hit another car.

The victim said the two teens stole a backpack from his car.

South Brunswick police canvassed the area and located the two teens later that evening. That's when they found the drugs on them, said police.

Taylor and Briggs are charged with robbery, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of heroin.
