High School Food Drive at South Brunswick Supermarkets
South Brunswick students will be collecting donations at the Stop & Shop on Rt. 27 and the ShopRite on Rt. 130 March 18 and 19.
MONMOUTH JUNCTION, NJ - Members of the Viking Leadership Alliance of South Brunswick High School will team up with the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services on March 18 and 19 to help put an end to hunger in the local community.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19, the Viking Leadership Alliance, along with the help of other students, parents and staff, will be collecting food and monetary donations at several local grocery stores: the Stop & Shop on Rt. 27, Summerfield and Rt. 522, and the ShopRite on Rt. 130 in North Brunswick.
All donations received during the two-day drive will be used to put food in the cupboards of the Middlesex County families that need it most.
