Investigation Into Fatal South Brunswick Shooting Continues
The death of the young woman is the first murder in the township since 2008 and the first murder by gunfire in more than 20 years.

The investigation into the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman is continuing, authorities said Thursday.
No arrests have been made.
Alicia Martinez-Izaguirr of New Brunswick was killed Wednesday morning in the parking lot of a company on Docks Corner Road in South Brunswick.

Her death is the first murder in the township since 2008 and the first murder by gunfire in more than 20 years.
On Wednesday, the killer approached the young woman around 7 a.m., shot her, then fled, according to a news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
