Jamesburg Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Police identified the male killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday night as a 36-year-old Jamesburg resident.

South Brunswick Police identified as a 36-year-old Jamesburg resident.   

Jabrel Warren died late Saturday night after the motorcycle he was driving collided with another vehicle on Route 535 (Cranbury-South River Road) and Deans Rhode Hall Road at 11:39 p.m.

Police said Warren was driving a 2007 Kawasaki southbound on Route 535, when his motorcycle struck a 2003 Honda Civic as it was making a left-hand turn off of Deans Rhode Hall Road onto Route 535.

Warren and his female passenger were both ejected from the motorcycle, according to police. The female passenger, who police said is in her 30's, was critically injured. She was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where she was listed in critical condition.

South Brunswick Police officers, the Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad and paramedics attempted to revive Warren, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the Civic, a 23-year-old male who is also from Jamesburg, and his two passengers were treated for minor injuries. 

The accident is currently under investigation by the South Brunswick Traffic Safety Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to call (732) 329-4646.
