After learning about cooking and healthy eating, children recently helped prepare a special breakfast for South Brunswick senior citizens.
Children who spent the summer learning about cooking and healthy eating recently helped prepare a special breakfast for South Brunswick senior citizens.
The children are enrolled in the Garden State Community Kitchen, a program offering farm-to-table educational instruction for children and families, according to a news release about the event.
They joined Stop & Shop managers to serve a special, nutritious breakfast for local senior citizens in the Kendall Park section of town.
