Learn More About The South Brunswick Natural Gas Compressor At An Upcoming Forum
Community groups and government officials will be present to give more information on the proposed natural gas compressor.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ-- Community groups and government officials will hold a public forum about the proposed natural gas compressor in South Brunswick Tuesday, Nov 1.
Representatives from the NJ Sierra Club, Berks Gas Truth, 350.org, as well as South Brunswick Mayor Frank Gambatese and a representative from Assemblyman Zwicker’s office will be present at the forum.
The proposal to build a natural gas compressor station on Route 27 has been met with fierce public opposition-- including opposition by the town council of South Brunswick and homeowners associations.

"“We are coming together to learn what we can do to stop this dangerous and unnecessary pipeline and compressor station," Jeff Tittel, Director of the NJ Sierra Club, said in a statement. "This project would hurt the environment and threaten public safety."
The meeting will be held between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the South Brunswick Senior Center (540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction).
