"Dear Editor,
My long-time friend Anil Patel is running for a vacant spot on the Board of Education and I can not think of a better person for the job. I have known Anil for more than 20 years and can say with pride that he is a man of will, determination, and humility. I was privileged with being able to work alongside him in various organizations where he has taken a leadership capacity. Watching him lead these organizations makes me believe that he can and will help the South Brunswick Community in every way possible.

As members of the same organization (ICS of NJ), both Anil and I have taken an active involvement in our respective roles in these organizations. He flourished in his roles and advanced to bigger positions such as president and board member. As an organization, we had the utmost faith in him to lead us to bigger and better things. He successfully implemented programs within the Indian community that successfully attributed positive engagement.
His next steps in his volunteer career will be to better his own community, by giving back to South Brunswick Township. I am fully confident that as a member of the Board of Education, he will be able to bring successful and positive change to the families and children of South Brunswick. Having two children of his own who both went through the South Brunswick school system, he knows first hand the struggles and experiences they went through. In order to avoid that, he wants to change the conversation.

As a member of the Board of Education, he wants to bring positive change. He plans on accomplishing this in many different ways. First, he will change the communication between government officials and taxpayers. Streamlining communication allows for a healthier and more productive conversation where everyone is on the same page. He also wants to strength extracurricular activities in South Brunswick schools. Both of his children were heavily involved in after-school programs, clubs, and even sports. He saw first-hand how being involved in these activities was a positive experience for them and bettered them as individuals. With the education system constantly changing, Anil wants to make sure the quality of South Brunswick’s children goes unharmed.
To ensure the quality of education and for the betterment of South Brunswick families everywhere, I truly believe Anil Patel is the best candidate. His hard work and dedication will bring positive change to the school of South Brunswick and it’s people. On November 8th, 2016, go out and vote for Anil Patel and see what he can do for our community!
