SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The owner of a local business in town recently presented a check to the police department to cover the costs for five new ballistic vests.
Tony Lanza of Petro Pallet contacted Chief Raymond J. Hayducka earlier this week and presented a check for $5000 to the police department.
“As an agency, we needed to cover the costs of 24 new ballistic vests this year, along with the costs associated with many other pieces of equipment needed to keep our officers safe and effective,” Hayducka said.

The increased costs of new equipment and officer training "can become burdensome," the police chief said. “The donation of five vests by Petro Pallet helps enormously.”
