Man Accosted Teen Boy In South Brunswick Bathroom: Police
Police say the man followed the teenager into the bathroom twice.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ— A North Brunswick man has been charged with harassing a teenaged boy in a South Brunswick restaurant bathroom, police said.
George Daymond Shirley, 49, was charged with 4th degree harassment for accosting a teenage boy, according to South Brunswick Police Captain Jim Ryan.
According to police, the teenager was in the process of locking a single-stall bathroom door in a restaurant when Shirley walked in, saying he needed to throw something away.

The teenager said he was using the restroom, and Shirley tapped him on the chest, saying, "Okay," according to police. The teen left, and returned again when it was empty.
Shirley followed the boy a second time, and again, the boy told Shirley he was going to the bathroom. According to police, Shirley told the boy to go ahead.

The boy left the restroom, and told people to call police. Shirley was detained by the boy's father until police arrived.
Shirley was charged with one count of 4th degree harassment, and was released on a summons pending his first court appearance.
