Man Killed In Rt. 1 Crash In North Brunswick Monday: Reports
A North Brunswick man was killed when a tractor-trailer crashed into the tow truck on Monday, according to reports
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A tow-truck driver was killed in a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route. 1 and Adams Lane on Monday afternoon, according to reports.
Edward Smith, 41, of North Brunswick was pronounced dead at the scene after he was ejected from the truck, according to MyCentralJersey.com.
Smith was driving a tow truck in the area of Adams Lane and attempting a left turn when an oncoming tractor-trailer crashed into the tow truck, NJ.com said.

The impact of the crash was such that it threw Smith from the tow truck and pushed it into a parked car at an auto dealership, according to reports.
The crash is currently under investigation.
