Man Stabbed At Northwood Apts In North Brunswick Monday

This man was charged with stabbing another late Monday afternoon at the Northwood apartment complex off Rt. 130 in North Brunswick.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man was charged with stabbing another late Monday afternoon at the Northwood apartment complex off Rt. 130 in North Brunswick, police said.

Police were called to Oak Road at 5:17 p.m. Monday, April 30. When they got there, they found a semi-conscious male victim collapsed near the entrance to the condo community. He had been stabbed multiple times and was bleeding heaving. He was treated by North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad and was then taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Police determined he had been stabbed inside the Northwood complex, and began combing the area. They stopped a possible suspect as he attempted to leave the area, and questioned him.

Jakil Bryant, 24, of North Brunswick, pictured, was charged in connection to the stabbing and was remanded to the Middlesex County Department of Corrections facing numerous charges. The stabbing occurred as part of a dispute, police said, and the suspect and victim were not related.
