Meet Author Ann Hood at SBPL Dinner Sept. 20
Dinner & Book-signing with Author Ann Hood at the 2014 South Brunswick Library Foundation's Book & Author Gala Dinner Sept. 20.

Bring a friend and enjoy an Italian-themed dinner on Saturday, Sept. 20 along with best-selling author Ann Hood, and receive a signed copy of her newest book An Italian Wife, release date Sept. 2. Hors d’oeuvres begin 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m., all after regular operating hours at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Jct.

Hood is the author of 15 books, as well as numerous essays and short stories in esteemed publications such as The New York Times. Her writing has won her a Best American Spiritual Writing Award, the Paul Bowles Prize for Short Fiction, two Pushcart Prizes, and more.

A master of both fiction and nonfiction, her bestsellers include The Knitting Circle and Obituary Writer. The memoir Comfort: A Journey Through Grief was named one of the top 10 nonfiction books of 2008 by Entertainment Weekly and was a New York Times Editor’s Choice.
