Metropolitan Golf Group Appoints Erik Bramble

Monroe Township, NJ – Metropolitan Golf Group announces that Erik Bramble has been appointed to the new position of Corporate Director of Sales. Bramble will be responsible for overseeing membership sales, the daily operational aspects of social events, including catering, and the recruitment of new corporate business at Forsgate Country Club and Shackamaxon Country Club. Metropolitan Golf Group is a full service golf course and country club management organization that operates Forsgate, located in Monroe Township, New Jersey, and Shackamaxon in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Bramble has been in the golf industry since 1999. He formerly was the Director of Private Events at Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, New Jersey. His other club experience includes Director of Golf at Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood, New Jersey, and Sales Manager at Minebrook Golf Club in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Bramble also was General Manager at two Golfsmith locations in New Jersey, the General Manager at Club Champion in Hackettstown, a premium U.S. club fitter and retailer, and Hardlines Manager at Golf Galaxy in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and Oxford Valley, Pennsylvania. Among his skills, he is a certified master club fitter and builder.

Bramble graduated from Rutgers University with a dual degree in sports management and business economics. Erik enjoys tournament kayak fishing, and he is the proud father of two girls and a stepson.
