Middlesex County Raises Funds For Pancreatic Cancer Research

The county's Parks and Recreation Department has raised over $22,500 to aid pancreatic cancer research, from 2009 through 2021.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Every year, Middlesex County hosts a Pancreatic Cancer Co-Ed Softball Tournament to help raise funds for pancreatic research. This year's tournament, held on Sept. 18 helped raise another $1,000

The event was held at the Thomas Edison Park and was hosted by the Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation, along with the Board of County Commissioners. The aim was to increase community awareness about the disease and raise funds to aid cancer research at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The County's Office of Parks and Recreation has raised over $22,500 to aid pancreatic cancer research, from 2009 through 2021.
