Middlesex County Shelter Announces Adorable Black Friday Deal: Free Pet Adoptions

This might be the cutest Black Friday deal around.

SAYREVILLE, NJ— Sammy's Hope animal shelter has paired with online retailer Zappos to offer free adoptions to anyone who stops by the Sayreville location to adopt a cat or dog.

Beginning on Black Friday and running through Cyber Monday, all adoption fees are waived as part of Zappo's "Pawlidayz" program.

The website has pledged to donate $1.25 million to Best Friends Animal Societies to provide free adoptions at 115 shelters across the country.

“Zappos is excited to work with Best Friends Animal Society for a second year this holiday season,” said Steven Bautista, Karma Kommando at Zappos. “Thousands of dogs and cats are in need of loving homes and we want to give all of our customers the ability to make a difference in their lives.”

“We’re thrilled to have the support of Zappos and Best Friends Animal Society," David Gaier, Director of Marketing of Sammy's Hope. "For four special days we’ll be able to offer adoptions of homeless animals at no charge to qualified families. Please visit us this weekend and take home the love of your life!”

Sammy's Hope, located at 1400 Main Street in Sayreville, is open from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m. on the weekends.
