Mohamed Sanu to the New York Giants?

South Brunswick, NJ - Could one of South Brunswick’s most famous football alums be playing much closer to home next season?
NFL wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, who currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals, is being eyed by the New York Giants, reports CBSSports.com’s Jason La Canfora, along with the Jets’ Muhammad Wilkerson.
Sanu, along with Wilkerson, has already “generated a fair amount of buzz within the organization, sources said, as the franchise prepares for an off season in which it aims to be active at the deep end of the free-agent pool,” LaCanfora writes.

Free agency season in the NFL begins March 9.
“The Bengals, his current employers, have never made a real concerted effort to retain him,” La Canfora writes of Sanu. ”And they have a slew of potential free agents to sort through themselves as they try to keep their many starters who are set to hit the market.”
