Monmouth Junction Firefighter Buys, Renovates Rt. 27 Gym

Kingston Retro Fitness, in the Kingston Mall off Rt. 27, will have its grand re-opening this Saturday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Ever work out at Kingston Retro Fitness off Rt. 27? Ralph Basile, a Monmouth Junction volunteer firefighter, is the proud new owner of the gym, which will have its grand re-opening this Saturday after being renovated. Retro Fitness is located in the Kingston Mall at 4437 Rt. 27, Princeton.

The re-opening marks the start of a new beginning for the gym, which was recently purchased by Basile.

"Everything is new, from the equipment to the locker rooms. In six short months we have created a state-of-the-art fitness center, making it the top gym in the area," he said. "It would not have been possible if not for the support of the South Brunswick community. I wanted to make this grand opening a time to say thank you to all the people who supported us."

As part of its grand opening, the gym is partnering with South Brunswick High School Project Graduation to raise money. For each new member that joins this Saturday, the gym will donate money to Project Graduation.

Retro Strike Boxing/Kickboxing: Retro Strike is an exciting boxing/kickboxing inspired 30-minute workout fitness class, which was also the winner of Jillian Michael's new TV show, "Sweat Inc." The workout has officially claimed the title of "Next Fitness Phenomenon."
