Residents can tour an ambulance, meet volunteers and learn how to join the squad. Free bagels, too.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Ever wondered what it takes to ride on an ambulance? The Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad is opening its doors to show you.
The squad will host an open house on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its building at 364 New Road in Monmouth Junction.
Visitors can learn what the squad does, explore volunteer opportunities and find out what it takes to become a member. Squad members will talk about the training, certifications and hands-on experience that come with the job, and they’ll take questions from the public.
