Monmouth Junction AT&T Store On Rt. 1 Robbed
Police released these photos of the suspect and getaway car; store employees confronted the suspect on the side of Rt. 1 last Thursday.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick Police released these photos Monday of the suspect and vehicle wanted in connection to the robbery of the AT&T store on Rt. 1 Thursday afternoon, Oct. 11.
At approximately 2:20 p.m. last Thursday, a man walked into the Monmouth Junction AT&T store and was looking at phones. When no one was looking, he cut the security cords with a knife and fled on foot. Staff chased the suspect out of the store and confronted him on the side of Rt. 1. The suspect produced the knife and yelled at the staff member.
Video from nearby Reilly's Collision Center showed the suspect got into the passenger side of newer model black Volkswagen that was parked in the dealership lot and fled the scene. The suspect fled into the lot of DCN Hyundai parking lot and got into the passenger side of the car, which had a New York registration. The suspect has been connected to two other cell phone stores in the central New Jersey area.

The suspect was described as a dark-skinned male wearing a blue baseball hat, white shirt, and grey shorts.Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Rick DeLucia at (732) 329-4000 x7484.
