Muslims to Attend Jewish Services in South Brunswick
Muslims and other groups say they are standing in solidarity with Jewish neighbors by attending a prayer service Saturday at B'nai Tikvah.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - In light of several anti-Semitic incidents lately in the nation, South Brunswick Muslims say they are standing in solidarity with their Jewish neighbors by attending a prayer service this Saturday at temple B'nai Tikvah on Finnigans Lane.
"In light of the recent rise in anti-Semitic acts such as bomb threats, desecration of a Jewish cemetery and other acts of hate and vandalism, I would like to encourage the Muslim community and others to reach out to members of the Jewish community and their houses of worship and stand united in solidarity against all acts of hate," said South Brunswick mom and Board of Ed. member Azra Baig, who is Muslim. "Visit a synagogue, reach out to a Jewish neighbor or friend."
Members of the South Brunswick Muslim community and other religious groups in the Township plan to attend a service at the temple this Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m., she said. B'nai Tikvah is located at 1001 Finnigans Lane in North Brunswick.
