  • Words are Powerful Spirit Day - wear a shirt with an inspirational saying
  • Videos and discussions around each character trait of CARES
  • Focus on being a “bucket filler”
  • Video and discussion on what it means to be “BA Proud”
  • 30-day kindness challenge
  • Messages to inspire respect during morning announcements
  • Pajama Day - put bullying to bed!
  • School-wide CARES assembly and respect song
  • Respect and kindness pep rally
  • Special library display of anti-bullying themes
  • Student greeters at all entrances for arrival and dismissal
  • NY Jets Upstander of the Week Initiative
  • Respect slogan contest
  • Mental Health and Wellness Fair
  • Interest session for Gay Straight Alliance
  • Wear black and gold to show unity and respect for all
  • Google Classroom with Week of Respect related resources for teachers
  • Positive sidewalk chalk messages at the entrances of the school
  • “Spin the Wheel” activity - receive a note of positivity and an act of kindness to bestow upon peers
