New Assistant Superintendent Appointed For South Brunswick Schools

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of a new Assistant Superintendent during the Sept. 22 Board meeting.

Luck-Born thanked the Board and took the opportunity to say hello to the South Brunswick school community.

“I actually feel like I won a prize,” Luck-Born said. “It is a privilege to continue to serve the South Brunswick community in this new capacity. I look forward to continuing the relationship with our students, staff and families and seeing where we can go next as a district.”
Luck-Born started in her new role immediately after the appointment was made official, taking a seat at the meeting table.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Scott Feder’s contract is up for renegotiation.
The BOE will hold a public hearing on the employment contract on Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. during the Board meeting. Members of the public can submit or make comments on the contract renegotiations.
The Board is expected to take formal action on the Superintendent’s contract at the meeting on Oct. 27. For the meeting notice, click here.
