South Brunswick Cops: Man Arrested In Construction Site Burglary
According to the police, the suspects fled from the construction site after being spotted by an employee.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – South Brunswick police on Tuesday said they arrested a man from New Brunswick in connection with a burglary near Ridge Road.
According to the police, officers were dispatched to a construction site at Harbor Retirement Development, on Route 1 and Ridge Road, a little after 6 a.m on Monday.

An employee on site told police he saw two people attempting to steal hundreds of dollars’ worth of construction-grade power tools.

According to the police, the suspects fled from the construction site after being spotted by the employee. With help from New Jersey State Police and K-9 unit, the police arrested Jose Chavez, 23, of New Brunswick.
Police have identified an accomplice, Ismael Escobar, 23, also from New Brunswick.
