New Wawa Opened Friday In South Brunswick
South Brunswick's newest Wawa opened Friday morning, Dec. 8 on Rt. 27 at Beekman Road.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick's newest Wawa opened Friday morning, Dec. 8 on Rt. 27 at Beekman Road.
To celebrate the grand opening, South Brunswick police and firefighters held a sub-making competition outside the Wawa Friday morning. Kendall Park firefighters won, making 27 subs to the police department's 26. The event raised a combined $2,000 for charity, with $1,000 raised by police for the South Brunswick Food Bank and $1,000 by firefighters to Hugs For Brady. All the money was donated by Wawa.
This is part of Wawa's mass expansion in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2017 and into 2018; this is the 36th store they've opened and Wawa plans to open 50 in all.
