North Brunswick Car Thieves Caught, Police Say

Teens from New Brunswick allegedly breaking into unlocked cars in the Berdines Corner section were apprehended.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Wednesday, we told you how multiple unlocked cars were being entered in North Brunswick, and items were being stolen. This was mainly in the Berdines Corner area.

Now, North Brunswick police say they caught the suspects.

A resident reported seeing a suspicious person in that area and called police, and plain-clothed officers went to the scene Tuesday night. Police say they arrested the suspects within seconds of the call Tuesday night.

All three suspects are juveniles from the North Brunswick/New Brunswick area. The teens will be charged with numerous counts of burglary and theft. The alleged burglaries took place at night, and all were to unlocked vehicles.
