A North Brunswick man is charged with DUI after police say he seriously injured an 18-year-old woman in a motorcycle crash in Perth Amboy.
NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A North Brunswick man is charged with DUI after police say he seriously injured an 18-year-old woman in a motorcycle crash in Perth Amboy.
The accident occurred last Friday night, May 31 at the intersection of Gordon and High streets in Perth Amboy: Thomas Purcell, 20, of North Brunswick, was driving a car that struck a man and woman on a motorcycle, according to a spokeswoman for the Middlesex County prosecutor.
The 18-year-old woman was thrown off the motorcycle and she landed a significant distance away, said police. The man driving the bike was also injured, although not as seriously as she was.

Purcell was charged by Perth Amboy police with driving under the influence and assault by auto.
