Nurse Practitioner Assaulted Teen At NJ Youth Shelter, Prosecutor Says
Izee Dizon of Bridgewater was charged after an investigation determined he had inappropriate physical and verbal contact with a teen.
NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A nurse practitioner has been charged with assaulting a 16-year-old inside the medical unit of the Middlesex County Youth Shelter, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
Izee Dizon, 34, of Bridgewater was charged with third-degree aggravated assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and North Brunswick Police Director Joseph Battaglia said Tuesday.
The case began March 6, when the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency notified the prosecutor's office that a 16-year-old juvenile reported being assaulted by a nurse practitioner while inside the shelter's medical unit.

According to investigation, Dizon had inappropriate physical and verbal contact with the juvenile inside the shelter.
Dizon was arrested without incident March 8 and charged with both counts. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
