Updated Results: Voters Elect 3 Newcomers To South Brunswick BOE
The Middlesex County Board of Elections released updated results of the 2022 election on Monday.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The updated results of the 2020 election are here. The Middlesex County Board of Elections released the final tally of the 2022 election on Monday.
South Brunswick voters put three newcomers on the South Brunswick Board of Education. Alisha Khan, Laura Hernandez and Julie Ferrara will now take their seats on the BOE. The top vote-getter was Laura Hernandez, who is an educator. Alisha Khan, a recent South Brunswick High School graduate received the second-highest number of votes followed by Julie Ferrara.

- Laura Hernandez: 5,545
- Alisha Khan: 5,104
- Julie Ferrara: 5,097
- Joyce Mehta: 4,690
- James Lavan: 4,031
- Ray Keuhner: 3,935
To make the tally official, the final certification of the results must be done by Nov. 26.
