Officials From Middlesex County Tapped to Aid Christie's Campaign

More than 200 New Jersey residents have been tapped to help the Livingston native's presidential run.

Shortly after he publicly announced his candidacy Tuesday, Gov. Chris Christie’s campaign announced more than 200 New Jersey residents – elected officials and businesspersons – have been tapped to help the Livingston native’s presidential run.

On his Political Leadership team, Christie named the following officials who represent Middlesex County:

  • Christopher “Kip” Bateman, State Senator, District 16
  • Robert Clifton, Assemblyman, District 12
