Passenger Dies, Driver Flees Crash Prompting Police K9 Search In South Brunswick: Cops
Three people in the other vehicles were injured, one seriously, said police.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — One passenger is dead, one driver is on the loose and three other people are injured following a four-vehicle crash in South Brunswick on Thursday.
At 4:26 p.m. on Dec. 22, several 911 calls reported a crash on Beekman Road near Old Beekman Road, said South Brunswick Police.
A backseat passenger in one vehicle was found dead and the driver of that vehicle had fled. A search was conducted using K9 and multiple officers, but the driver was not found, said police.

The crash and ongoing investigation involved multiple agencies including the South Brunswick Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Kendall Park Fire Department, Kendall Park First Aid Squad, South Brunswick EMS, Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad, Middlesex County Office of Emergency Management, Franklin Township Police Department, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, Somerset County Prosecutors Office, and the FBI all helped with the search and investigation.
