Pedestrian Struck In South Brunswick Monday Morning
The man is in stable condition. The driver said the pedestrian was on the road at the time of the crash, according to police.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A pedestrian from South Brunswick was struck early on Monday morning, South Brunswick police said. The man is in stable condition.
On Monday, Nov. 8 at 8:11 a.m. police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on New Road near the Kendall Park Fire House. On arrival they found a 66-year-old Kendall Park resident injured on the road, police said. Also present was a 2019 Toyota pickup truck and its 76-year-old driver, a Princeton Junction resident.
The pedestrian was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, where he is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

The driver of the pickup truck told police he was traveling eastbound on New Road when he struck the pedestrian, who he said was on the road at the time of the crash. The driver also said that he was experiencing significant sun glare at the time of the crash, police said.
The crash is still under investigation by the South Brunswick Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau. No summonses have been issued. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Jesse Blake at (732)329-4646.
