Poetry Reading in South Brunswick Sunday
Poets Anna M. Evans and Pat Hardigree will be featured at the South Brunswick Public Library on March 18.
Poets Anna M. Evans and Pat Hardigree will be the featured readers on Sunday, March 18 at South Brunswick’s monthly series of Sunday poetry readings. The program, sponsored by the South Brunswick Arts Commission, in cooperation with the starts at 2 p.m. in the Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction.
Evans’ poems have appeared or are forthcoming in the Harvard Review, Atlanta Review, Rattle, American Arts Quarterly, and 32 Poems. She gained her MFA from Bennington College, and is the Editor of the Raintown Review. Recipient of a 2011 Fellowship from the MacDowell Artists' Colony, she currently teaches poetry at West Windsor Art Center. Her chapbooks Swimming and Selected Sonnets are available from Maverick Duck Press.
Pat Hardigree holds an MA in English, Trenton State College. Her work has appeared in The Paterson Literary Review (Editors’ Choice in 2004, 2009, Honorable mention in 2010); Lips, US 1 Worksheets, Kelsey Review (2001 Pushcart nominee), and various small presses. She serves as editor/webmaster for the Delaware Valley Poets, Inc.

Admission to the poetry readings is free, though a donation of a nonperishable food item, which will be given to the South Brunswick Food Pantry, is encouraged.
