Police Make Arrest In South Brunswick High School Damage

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick Police on Thursday announced they charged a man for damaging South Brunswick High School grounds.

David E. French, 20, from North Brunswick was charged with criminal mischief, police said.

On Wednesday, Police had asked the public for help in identifying a suspect who drove across the school grounds on Tuesday at 12.02 a.m., causing more than $10,000 in damage to its athletic fields.

According to the police, French has no connection to the high school and was going off roading in his truck, when he drove across the school’s baseball, softball, and soccer field.

Police said they were helped by several residents and surrounding law enforcement agencies. French was processed and released on a summons with a court date scheduled, said police.
