Police Officer Injured In 'Serious' Crash In South Brunswick

An officer was involved in a serious crash and has been taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. Rt. 130 north is down to 1 lane traffic.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Department is investigating a serious crash on Route 130, near Route 522.

This crash involves an officer, according to the Police. The crash took place before 2 p.m. The officer has been taken by EMS to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

No further information is available on the severity of the officer's injuries. It's not known if other injuries are involved.
