PSE&G To Work On Gas Main Replacement For 9 Weeks In South Brunswick

The work will take place along New Road from Wheeler Road to Route 27.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — For the next few weeks you may encounter traffic delays in some parts of town, as PSE&G works to replace gas main and services.

The work will take place along New Road from Wheeler Road to Route 27. The project is expected to last for around nine weeks, officials said last week.

The hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, weather and daylight permitting.

An alternating traffic plan will be in use during this time.

Motorists can expect traffic delays. However, officers and traffic controllers will be on-site to provide directions.
