Republican Governor's Race Debate Wednesday Night in South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Want to hear from the Republicans running to be the next New Jersey governor?

Even though South Brunswick is primarily Democratic (the Township voted overwhelmingly for Clinton/Kaine in the last presidential election), the South Brunswick Republican Organization will hold a public debate Wednesday evening, March 1 at Pierre's. The four candidates seeking the GOP nomination to run for New Jersey governor have been invited, and three have confirmed (Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is sending a spokesperson). Businessman Joe "Rudy" Rullo did not confirm. Of course, anyone from outside South Brunswick Twp. is invited to attend Wednesday evening.

Writes the South Brunswick Republican Organization:

Please plan to join us this Wednesday, March 1, 7 p.m., at Pierre's Restaurant. We have invited all four Republican candidates for Governor to speak to our group. Three of the campaigns have confirmed their attendance, so we hope that you will tell your friends and family. We will hear from Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, Nutley town commissioner Steven Rogers, and a spokesperson for Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno. This meeting is open to everyone who wants to hear from the candidates.
