Residents Targeted By ATM Theft, Fraud In South Brunswick: Police
Customers reported money being withdrawn from the ATM, while they still had their ATM cards, police said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Five South Brunswick residents told police that ATM machines at PNC Bank were used to steal money from the accounts, police said Wednesday.
In each case, the residents noticed withdrawals of over $300, all while they still had their ATM cards on them.
“It is unclear how the suspect obtained their account information,” police said.

According to detectives, the fraud is widespread and involves several counties in New Jersey. The South Brunswick Police Department is currently working with several other law enforcement agencies on the matter.
Detectives are asking PNC Bank customers to examine their ATM withdrawals to check for suspicious activity.
