Road Work To Close Georges Rd., Ridge Road In South Brunswick. See Details:

Paving on Ridge Road will require a road closure starting Wednesday morning.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Middlesex County Road Department crews will mill and pave sections of Georges Road and Ridge Road in South Brunswick starting Wednesday, Aug. 19, according to the department.

Milling on Georges Road between Deans Pond Lane and Rockingham Drive will take place Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paving will continue Thursday and Friday if necessary, with work hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. those days.

Separately, paving will begin on Ridge Road between the Route 130 overpass and the ramp to Route 130 northbound. That work will require the road to close for several hours starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, and drivers are advised to avoid the area. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access through the closure, according to the department.
