Roadwork at Two Intersections May Cause Delays This Week

Expect delays in the area around Georges Rd/Deans Lane 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

ALERT: Middlesex County is doing roadwork at two intersections this week, which may result in delays, South Brunswick police announced Monday afternoon.

Work will be done at the intersection of Georges Rd/Deans Lane starting Tuesday morning at 7 a.m., and may cause delays in the surrounding area, police warned.

The work is part of a milling and paving project underway by the Middlesex County Road Department. The project will take place at two intersections: Route 522/Kingston Lane/Ridge Rd and Georges Rd/Deans Lane

Monday, Nov. 23: Stripe the Intersection of Georges Rd/Deans Lane

The work will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Milling and paving started Monday at Rt. 522 and Kingston Lane, and police advised drivers to avoid that area. It was clear by 4 p.m.
