Rt. 1 Shut Down In South Brunswick Due To Wires In Roadway

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Wires down in the roadway have completely closed down Rt. 1 in both directions in the area of Finnegans Lane in South Brunswick, police said. As of 1:45 p.m., Rt. 1 is closed in both directions in that area.
In North Brunswick, Rt. 1 north has been completely shut down. Only one lane is open on Rt. 1 south. Avoid the area.
