Sayreville Police Release Picture of Car Burglary Suspect

Police want to remind residents to always lock car doors and take valuables out at night.

SAYREVILLE, NJ-- Sayreville Police have released pictures of a suspected car burglar and are asking for your help in finding them.

The burglaries took place over the past two weekends in the area of Boehmhurst Ave, Winding River, and nearby streets.

Police believe the car pictures if a light colored small sedan, like a Honda Civic or Nissan Altima.

They warned residents to be vigilant about locking their cars now that the nights are growing longer.

"Car burglaries do tend to increase this time of year as the days begin to get shorter and we start closing our windows at night," Sayreville police said. "Please make sure you lock the doors of your vehicle and keep anything of value out of view of wandering eyes."
