SBPA Explores the Mind of Boys

Workshop explores coaching, mentoring and guiding young male students.

Due to the success of the very informative and successful, “Minds of Boys” workshops held in recent years, the South Brunswick Parent Academy wraps up its 2012-13 workshop calendar with “The Minds of Boys Part II: Purposeful Parenting and Helping Our Sons Fulfill Their Potential,” which will be presented on Thursday, April 4 at Crossroads North Middle School.

Originally presented last year, this workshop will once again engage participants in a discussion and exploration of purposeful parenting: coaching, mentoring and guiding our boys, including several important topics:  breaking the boy code, building the habits of mind for success in life and careers in the 21st century and paving the way from boys to men.

The April 4th program will run from 7-8:30 p.m. and will be held at Crossroads North Middle School.  As an added bonus for attendees, ten lucky registrants will receive a copy of the workshop’s recommended reading: Teaching Boys Who Struggle in School by Kathleen Palmer Cleveland.
