Serious Injury Off Exit 8A on NJ Turnpike Monday
BREAKING: State Police landed their helicopter off the Turnpike just after 11 a.m. and medivaced the injured driver to a nearby hospital.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Someone was seriously injured Monday morning when a vehicle collided with a tractor trailer just off Exit 8A on the New Jersey Turnpike in the area of South Brunswick Township/Cranbury.
The injury was bad enough that State Police had to land their helicopter off the Turnpike and medivac the injured person to the nearest hospital, Trooper Alejandro Goez confirmed to Patch. The car involved was a GMC truck, and had a driver and a passenger inside. It is unknown at this time if it was the GMC driver or passenger that was injured.
The collision occurred at 11:09 a.m. Monday, after both the truck and the tractor trailed had gotten off the Turnpike and gone through the toll booth. The collision occurred just past the toll booth, Goez said. Expect delays in and around the area of 8A on the NJ Turnpike. Stay tuned for updates from Patch.
