So SBHS followed you to Rutgers...

If you go to Rutgers you are going to see people from South Brunswick all the time.  You might be thinking It's a huge school, how often could I possibly see someone I used to know?

The answer is you will see someone from South Brunswick all the time.

I’m not going to lie. The 20th time you run into someone and have a meaningless two minute conversation about how, yes, we both ended up going to Rutgers, you live in this campus, you are doing that major, and taking those classes, you will want to pull your hair out by the roots.

But the good news is that it's not as bad as you might think.  The people you don’t want to talk to are surprisingly easy to ignore. More times than not they aren't really going to want to talk to you either.  And there will be people you actually do want to talk to.  You'll see a friend and end up becoming closer than ever (especially if you end up rooming together).  You'll run into someone who you didn’t know that well in high school, and suddenly you'll be come best friends (especially if you end up living down the hall from them).  And dealing with the annoyance of running into people you don’t like will be worth it in the end.
