Somerset Man Killed In Fatal South Brunswick Crash: Police
A fatal crash on Route 130 south at the intersection of Deans Rhode Hall Road claimed the life of a Somerset resident, police said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 52-year-old man from Somerset was killed Friday evening when his car crashed into a tractor-trailer, police said.
On Friday at 7:16 p.m., police responded to Route 130 south at the intersection of Deans Rhode Hall Road for a crash involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer. When officers arrived, they found a 2015 Dodge Dart had run into the rear of a 2015 Volvo tractor-trailer, police said. The driver of the Dodge, a resident of Somerset County was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
According to police, preliminary investigation revealed the Dodge ran under the back of the tractor-trailer that was stopped at the traffic signal.

The Monmouth Junction Fire Department, South Brunswick EMS, Middlesex County Medical Examiner, and the New Jersey State Department of Transportation responded to the crash. The highway southbound was closed for five hours on Friday.
