South Brunswick Adopts New COVID-19 Reporting Format
With school beginning soon, authorities adopt a new format to reflect age and gender of people who tested positive.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - On Monday, the South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management announced that it will begin a new format of reporting COVID-19 cases in town. The revised format begins this week said Deputy Chief James Ryan, South Brunswick Police Department.
Under the new format, authorities will provide a breakdown of the total number of cases, average age of people who have tested positive, a breakdown by gender and any cases of people below the age of 18.
“As schools start back, there will be renewed interest in school-aged population cases and any increase in the virus spread,” said Ryan in a statement.
