The South Brunswick High School boys bowling team may have been winless in its first three games this season, but the Vikings certainly took care of that problem.
With wins in its last two matches, South Brunswick is now 2-1-2. According to Coach Brian Burniston, expect more wins.
"I hope we can match what we did last season (9-4-2), maybe even be a little bit better," Burniston said. "With two freshmen starting, that'd be a pretty successful season."

Kimberlin also made his mark in the Bishop Ahr Tournament, bowling the third highest game with a score of 269.
The other starters on the team are Dominic Anghelone (junior), Kevin Klemas (senior), Steven Krier (junior) and Steven Thanapuasawan (senior).
Anghelone is off to an outstanding start, turning in series as high as 680 and 663.
Krier has also been outstanding, topping a 600 series three times (632, 672 and 635).
Showing off his potential, Klemas turned in a monstrous 689 series (242, 246 and 201) against JP Stevens.
Thanapuasawan had a 632 series to help South Brunswick come away with a 2-2 tie against East Brunswick. South Brunswick also has a tie against Old Bridge. Its wins are against JP Stevens and Piscataway. The team lost the season opener to Woodbridge.
"We have a very solid starting six," Coach Burniston said.
South Brunswick also has talented bowlers that can fill in when needed.
Marc Beaudry (senior) had a 165 game in a 3-1 win over JP Stevens. Peter Asciolla (junior) had a 193 in that win. Alex Neer (senior) had a 158.
"We have tremendous potential," Coach Burniston said. "To be a really strong team, you have to throw 200 games. We have four solid players that can do that and two that have the potential. Hopefully, we'll continue to improve as the year goes along."
Coach Burniston has already seen improvement from what was a pretty successful 2010-11 season.
"Last year we averaged 950 a game (as a team)," Burniston said. "Right now, we're at 994. Even if that goes down, we certainly can average over 950."
